La Mumba (spanish hot chocolate & brandy drink)

This is a very popular hot drink here in Spain. So simple to make too. It will warm you up and make you smile. May even make you giggle if you have too many LOL.

Milk
2 tsp chocolate powder
1 tbsp (or more to taste) brandy

Choose your vessel for serving and fill with cold milk. Pour the measured milk into a saucepan, but leave a little in your glass.

Heat milk in pan to just boiling point. In the meantime, put the chocolate powder into the glass and mix with the little cold milk left behind. Now pour in 1 tablespoon (or so, to taste) of brandy and mix with the milk chocolate.

Pour in the hot milk and serve. Aproveche.

Hi Anon,

Thanks for stopping by & leaving your comment. I too have had it over ice. As you say delicious & refreshing, but my preferred way is hot.

I generally prefer a G&T with my ice LOL.
